  • Comments: Well organized and fun! This is not a USAT race so drafting, transition rules, etc. were very relaxed. Suprisingly, the athletes did not abuse things. I saw little (if any drafting). The transition zones were kept organized, etc. The youth race was also excellent and provided an extra incentive to drive the 2 1/2 hours to the race. My daughter competed. It was a great experience for her and a chance to share triathlon with my family. Nice. The entry fee to this race is cheaper than USAT races in the area. The turn-out was fantastic. The weather was almost perfect. No complaints and I would not recommend any changes for next year. The organizers even had snow-cones for the kids! The results have not been posted yet. Sorry no splits.
