Comments: I've done this race before and I know the RD is extremely unorganized. Most of the time the distances are off and you never know just what to expect. To his credit, this time the distances were what was listed on the website. Good thing I checked the online maps and course before-hand, because there was zero information about course at the checkin. Knowing that this is a second rate operation going into the race and just concentrating on enjoying myself makes it fun. No chip. Have no idea how they actually kept track of splits. I went up to the guy at the finish line and asked what my time was. He wasn't sure. Doesn't matter. I had my garmin but I feel bad for the first timers that didn't know what the heck were going on. I had a great race and a great time doing it.
