  • Overall course based on my ability:

  • Comments: Leadville has gotten too big and the aid stations aren't all that good compated to other ultras. Besides that since Lifetime Fitness has taken over they are promoting the hell out of the Leadman challenge or competition or whatever they call it. This year it felt like the only people who mattered were the runners contending for the win and the people in the Leadman thing, everyone else just served as a backdrop. It's really sad.

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

  • Comments: I trained hard... attempted to run far and barely made the cutoff at Winfield which is the turnaround point on the course. It was extremely unlikely that I would have made the next cutoff so I decided to end my attempt. I am proud of how far I made it and am lucky to have actually ran the entire course (one way).
