  • Comments: This was a fantastic race. Bend is absolutely beautiful and a great place to make a destination race. I took my wife a 5 and 8 yr olds for 6 days and we had a blast. From exploring the surrounding volcanoes, to riding up to the top of Mt. bachelor, floating along the Deschutes River, golf, the Old Mill District, I can't name a place that we have had a better time. The race was small, but was very organized, from packet pick-up, to the race shuttles. There were ample water stops with good volunteers, more gels adn such than I have ever seen at a marathon, and a fun post-race spread. Great race!
