  • Comments: Definately a great race for inexperienced races given there is a pool swim. The reverse concept strung out the field so the pool wasn't too crowded. I was surprised with my finish time and place thinking that there were a lot more people in front of me on the run. The bike course was challenging but since the downhills were about the same grade as the uphills, you were able to coast at a decent speed for periods of time to rest. Definately a must do next year. Split times would be nice to have.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race and will probably make it a yearly event. I really, really hope that they get timing chips for next year. The award ceremony ran late (about 20 mins late), but it was fine, as the weather was pleasant, there were Red Bull chicks handing out their product, and fruit and other goodies to eat. I was a little disappointed in the goody bag, but this being a first time event, I'm guessing it'll get much better.

  • Comments: This was a first time event, and as such, I was a little skeptical that it may be a bit disorganized, but I think overall it was run pretty well. The start seemed to be on time but the award ceremony was delayed maybe 20-30 minutes it seemed. I wish there had been electronic timing so I could better understand splits and transition times. I guess that stuff costs money but this race fee was comparable to the previous one I did, which used timing ships. Not much in the goodie bag, but I liked the T-shirt pretty well. Overall though I think it was a good race and has potential to grow, although the pool situation seems to be a limiting factor.
