  • Comments: This is a GREAT race. And I'm not just saying that because it ends in my hometown. Fast course. (Usually) great weather. Great schwag. Nice post-race party. Highly recommended.

  • Comments: Great local race. The race started a little late but that was a deliberate action by the RD due to the rain. Post race set up was good, just a little crowded since it was in the parking garage due to the weather. Had several runners going for Olympic qualifying times due to the fast downhill course. The weather didn't help them any.

  • Comments: There is something to be said for home field advantage and a flatter course. I don't know if it was that I am familiar with the whole course or what, but it seemed to go by quickly. The event was very well organized with the exception of the start. I don't know how people missed that the start wasn't at Phillips this year as it seemed pretty clear to me. Waiting 15 minutes extra in the rain for the start was not fun! Overall, I was really happy with my race!

  • Comments: The only gripe I had about the race was that the starting line scene was very disorganized. The parking lot only had 8 port-a-potties and a lot of people thought that would be the only ones avaialble. But, there were tons more at the starting line. Also, no one said where the bag drop-off would be and everyone made their way to the starting line assuming that it would be there. Good thing it was!

  • Comments: This was a very well-run race. Lots and lots of drink stations, GU stations, port-a-potties, etc. Everything you need, including large crowds cheering you on at several points in the race. The course and scenery are just beautiful (and I'm not just saying that because I grew up in the area - check it out for yourself!). Plus, its the best time of year to hold this race as the weather (when the rain holds off - and luckily it did this year) is usually just perfect for running.

  • Comments: Great scenic race. Well-organized, inexpensive, and full of amenities. It's point-to-point, a fast Boston qualifier, and has plenty of mile/kilometer markers and aid stations
