  • Comments: This race was a lot of fun but it's not for everyone. At several poinsts during the day - I was in danger of getting picked up by the SAG wagon because I had decided to go slow. But even when I picked up the pace, I always hit drink stations when they were closing down and there wasn't enough support had I needed the help.

  • Comments: Having down this race last year, I have to say it was better run. The pre-race info said their would be lunch at the beginning and their wasn't. Last year there were 4 race stops and it was cut to two. It was also advertised as a 50 mile ride (it was 54 last year) and they cut it to 46 (I got to 52 by looping back to find my wife after going up the final hill). Post race activities were good with showers, beer, and sausages.
