Comments: I was extremely happy with my results... until I compared them with the overall field, where I was definatly BOP. Very happy with my times, guess I'm never going to be an olympic athlete, and my goal was to cross the finish line in one piece. So Have achieved my objective!
Of course I would like to have gone faster, beaten more people etc - it's just that triathletes personality defect!
Very hard work, mentally as well as physically, but a great race. Perfect weather, sunshine and fluffy clouds so no sunburn. Light breeze so not too hot.
Loved the race, all the officials incredibly encouraging, also other competitors.
