  • Comments: Great short race. Good first open water experience. This race seemed to draw a very diverse ability level.

  • Comments: The problems mostly had to do with Hurricane Hanna... The other problems were .. there was supposed to be gatorade and energy gels.. and there werent'. It took a long time to post results. NO massage. Race delayed due to stolen bouy's... Ladders slowed down exit from lake... Hard to find potty's.. hard to find a way to exit.. and some of the pavement on bike was really horrible. But.. it was a good event.. and most of the problems really were hurricane related.. I had fun. I'm glad I went. I want to race more.
