  • Comments: This is a great race. The course is fun (flat and fast) - the water can be cold (and choppy), but lots of volunteers, well organized, great food available to everyone (not just race participants). Nice shirt! (and swim cap) - - wish I had won a pair of socks (always useful, especially on a cold day). Temp (per iphone) at start of race 48 degrees, at end of race 51 degrees. Winds 15 mph ENE. This was my first EVER triathlon in 2009 where I placed 12 out of 12 in my age group. I was thrilled to win 3rd in my age group today (out of 14).
