  • Comments: Very boring run. $50 for an ugly orange shirt and a pack of powerade mix? THe fee was a bit too high, plus, the parking area that we were directed to park in was $5, too. We staretd 15 min late, I never heard an explanation for that one. The post-race spread was pretty good, thoguh with lots of pizza and fruit and cookies and beer. THe soft drinks were total generic Wal-Mart brand, so I can only imagine what was in the kegs. THe medal was an absolute joke. I usually give these to my kids to play with, but I just threw this one away. I would have been really pissed about all of this if I had gone into this in a race mindset. Fortunately, this was just a long training run so I had no real expectation, I just didn't want to run another 15 miles by myself, so it served its purpose. I would NOT race this in the future though.
