Comments: Loads of complaints really. Don't get me wrong, I had fun and met loads of new people but it was really quite badly run. gotlst due to the directions which were confusing enough. They were out of t shirts by the time I got there which is unfair because I registered ages ago. The road course was dodgy in the fact that I felt really unsafe. It was also really busy with cars and people. There was so much going on that were tons of people there. Too busy. The food at the end was really nasty so we opted to head out and eat breakfast elsewhere. Despite my complaints I'll probably do this race again.

Comments: My main complaint is that there were too many events going on simultaneously--sprint, tri-it sprint, Oly tri, Oly du, and half marathon. The organizers didn't post results or mention an awards ceremony even 90 min after I had crossed the line. It was really cold so I went on home. I don't know if they were waiting for the Oly to finish, but there were still bikers coming in as I was leaving the park. My other complaint is lack of toilets. Wasted a lot of time in line. It was a really pretty state park in an area I hadn't been to in many years. I like that it didn't start until 9, so I didn't have to leave home in the middle of the night to get there. If only it had been a teensy bit warmer today!!!! I am not sure I will do this one again next year, as it was pretty congested. And no swag! None!

Comments: Sadly, this could be an awesome event, I don't think it is now. As a spectator helping a buddy on the 1/2 the day before I watched a local land owner harrass and assault a bunch of the runners on his dirt bike and one of the course helpers on Sat. It was nasty! Finally 2 deputies sat on the guy until the race was finished. Too little parking, too many events (the race director is getting REALLY greedy IMO with no swag and too many events) for the space available. The run courses were confusing (how many people missed the second loop on the sprint?) as were the bike rides in the 1/2 and Oly. So many good roads in the area and such poor course layouts. 11 mile sprint bike on fairly flat roads is SILLY short. I have done half a dozen of AA races and have never been happy with their version of a wave start. Today all the men went out in one wave on the sprint. Makes a 1500 person race like Seafair seem uncrowded. It is not a fair start for many of the novice racers in the Sprint and
