  • Comments: Disappointed to lose time due to the broken spoke which made me slower than last year. However, felt a lot stronger than last year and average heart rates were considerably lower so probably could have pushed harder. 2008 vs 2009: bike 145/135; run 163/156.

  • Comments: Was happy with my performance given my current level of fitness. Very pleased with the run, my fastest yet at this distance (even adjusted for the short course).
