  • Comments: race itself was decent, it was the weather that made it so bad.. extreme winds and air temp below 50 all day

  • Comments: This was an awesome race. The course is challenging. Cold OWS and some awesome hills on the bike. I will be back next year. It was very cool to see all the college kids from all over the country come to Lubbock and felt good for the soon to be 30 yo to beat a few of them.

  • Comments: Transition area surface was horrible, it was really cold. The people did a good job, the venue was just bad. The swim start wasn't delayed by much, but standing on that wet sand for any longer than I had to wasn't good.

  • Comments: The atmosphere of all the collegiate athletes makes this a fun and unique race.

  • Comments: Another thing I learned from this race weekend is that Oklahoma and Texas are boring, and I would never want to live there.
