  • Comments: Wow, I really loved NYC marathon! I am sure doing a PR and feelilng great played a role in it, but it truely is an amazing event regardless. The views are gorgeours, the people are lined up and cheering the whole time, the bands... The organization was great! I would do it again!

  • Comments: Probably the best organized race I have ever done, how they get 39,000 people to the start and the stations along the way are truly amazing.

  • Comments: Great race, great event! Its a toss-up between Boston and New York as far as my favorite races... I'm leaning toward Boston, Lilia is leaning towards New York. A special thank you to Lance Armstrong for running this race. It inspired me to be cheesy and to race hard. More importantly he inspires millions of people to overcome physical hardships with not only action but with money. LiveStong!

  • Comments: Good weather conditions, great crowd support, awesome city. Yet this was more pain than pleasure. Marathons are just tough, but especially with a lofty goal. 3:10 in New York was just not realistic at this time for me. I probably would have had a better experience if I had been shooting for 3:15 or 3:20 and had paced myself evenly. After catching up to 7:16 pace at 20K after a 7:45 pace initial 5K, I was sort of doomed. I didn't have the reserves to maintain that kind of pace.
