  • Comments: I think there were 4 people overseeing the .6 mile swim course. Good luck, if you had an emergency. I don't think the HIM swimmers had too much more oversight either. Race started 1/2 hour late, which threw off my swimming warm up. I ended up getting in the water twice, because I was out of it for so long, I wanted to get used to it again. There also was not a race-day onsite race briefing for routes in and out of transition or anything else for that matter. We got our swim route briefing while in the corral. Everyone was guessing until then.
