  • Comments: This was a great location and race, the only down side was the organization at turns directing riders which was patchy. I managed to make the turns but I was not going very fast, and I saw a few people go the wrong way. That said, I would definitely recommend and do this race again though, great location and conditions for a season opening race. After 7 days of straight rain the sun finally came out and conditions were close to perfect.

  • Comments: Second ever Tri, and swim portion was 2.5 times my previous race. I was under prepared for swim. The difficulty in the swim had a lasting effect on my performance in both the bike and the run. Overall great event, need to be better prepaired.
