  • Comments: Overall it was well run, and the registration process was organized. I was very disappointed in the race shirt tee shirt. It had to be one of the crappiest shirts I've ever received from a race. 50/50 plain white shirt that had a rip on the sleeve seam which I did not notice until after the race. (I never wear the shirt until I've completed the race.) I was suprised that there was even a mention of finishers' medals. I'm not sure ITU even allows them to be given out. There weren't any last year in Madeira, so I was overly surprised when we didn't receive one here. It would have been nice, but I bought more then enough souvenirs to make up for it.

  • Comments: I was surprised and disappointed in myself. I usually thrive in the heat, but I guess Hawaii heat is just different than Florida heat. I guess I just didn't have it that day. I'm disappointed that my season ended with such an anticlimax, but now it's time to heal these injuries. I am happy to be able to say that I DEFINITELY left it all out on the course that day. There's no way I could've gone any faster with what I had to work with that day.

  • Comments: Best world championship ever. Well for me. Hawaii was awesome and the ITU and the people of Hawaii put on a great race! Met lots of cool people and ate and drank too much after the race.
