Comments: This was a good small town race. It was based in a retirement community, which I thought was odd. Everything went very smoothly. Packet ppick up was fine. Events started on time. We got lucky with the weather. They were calling for rain and mid 40s temps. The rain held off with only very slight drizzle around mile 20 or so, I never really even noticed it. The course was tough, not unbearable, though. I was a bit disappointed in the scenery. Lots and lots of fields, which I get at home, and several Amish families out cheering. It seemed more of a novelty than anything else. Post-race activities were fine. I didn't stick around for much. I took the family to Hershey, PA afterwards and we had a afternoon there. I'm glad I did this race, but I wouldn't do it again , just because it was very dull - the course, scenery, surrounding area. Nothing bad about it either, but nothing was fantastic.
