  • Comments: This was the first year for this race and there was a lot of course confusion. Volunteers were not adequately prepped for this event. The location and course were scenic and well layed out. Needs some work on the logistics and transition layout.

  • Comments: I did this race even though I was not 100% because it was in the area where I went to highschool and my wife grew up. We had a great time seing family. The race venue is beautiful and it was great to race on roads that are so familiar to me. There was a playground for the kids right in the middle of things and a nice bathhouse. It was the first race that my whole family attended, even my mom, so that was special. I also ended up on the podium since the first guy in my AG won 3rd overall and that bumped me up to 3rd place.

  • Comments: Despite how I feel about my performance in this race, I had a really great time at my first tri. The surroundings were absolutely idyllic. It was really nice to ride my bike through the beautiful rolling countryside, and run through lakeside woods -- I don't usually get to experience such lovely places! The goodie bag was pretty nice -- I have a really nice technical race T-shirt, and a cute little zipper pull. I hope that Piranha puts this event on again, because I had a fabulous time, and I would really like to come back next year.
