  • Comments: I actually left before I found out I got a podium spot..dang. I was done by 9:30 and they didn't have results of any kind posted at the time I left which was 10:15. That was the only annoyance ... otherwise, the race was set up and run nicely.

  • Comments: Outstanding job by Team Magic! LOTS of volunteers, including boy scouts with wet rags that you pass twice on the run. I got some water on the 1st avenue climb on the run and said "Thank you ma'am" to the lady, and another lady said "awww, he said thank you!!!" Thought that was funny. Having a closed bike and closed run course is awesome, I really enjoyed this race and plan to return next year. Might even give the intermediate a shot!

  • Comments: I had a lot of fun. This was my first triathlon, but from what I could tell the race seemed like it was fairly well organized. I will probably be back next year.

  • Comments: Obviously this was a good race, I podiumed, finished 3rd out of 58 in AG and 29 out of 524 in race, pretty darn good for an old guy. Thankfully, I think I have a lot of room to improve, but overall i am really happy with where I am today. The best part, I had a ton of fun during the race and still thoroughly enjoy this sport!

  • Comments: Well, I've attended two races by Team-Magic, and both started very late, but were otherwise very well organized. The environment for this race was terrific.

  • Comments: Team-Magic.com always puts on a great race. The swim start was delayed by perhaps this was the first race in this venue. Once the swim portion began, everything else ran like clockwork.
