  • Comments: I thought this race was perfect for a first timer (and I'm guessing it was great everyone else too). The moderator was very clear on what to do, I was shown how to put my numbers on and where, and everyone was very encouraging and friendly. Two things that I think could have been improved. It was a little confusing with the packet. The race course was drawn out but there were no street names marked, so I couldn't drive the course the day before like I'd planned (the bike route) and they didn't have it marked until the day of the race. During the Sprint, the women started first, and then the guys. The guys passed me really fast and it made it more difficult to swim because I was getting kicked and stuff. I would have liked to have the girls start after the dudes. It would have been so much better. Other than that, I would totally do this race again. It was so well organized. I'm kind of wondering how organized the Italians will be for my next race in Venice in a month. Our half

  • Comments: Needed more food choices after the race I thought. They were out of water when I went back for another. Glad I had some backup clifbars, or I would have been pretty hungry.
