  • Comments: wouldve gotten very high marks across the board (volunteers were awesome, awards were equally impressive, things were organized and on time.......) BUT on the website and all the informational documentation for this event, a post race BBQ was listed that did not happen. i understand that sometimes things change and all, BUT, i am sure that they did not change 5 minutes before the BBQ was suppose to happen. they couldve posted something to the effect of not having the BBQ which wouldve been fine, BUT, then they should have more than just plain bagels and orange wedges at the finish line................dunno, maybe im spoiled........

  • Comments: The race overall was pretty good. The bike and run courses were very nice. The swim portion was a different story! The water was way to cold to be swimming in safely. The event organizers should have moved the bouys in closer to shore to make it safer. I can't tell you how many people were walking in a quitting due to the temp. Also a number of people were pulled in by lifeguards.
