  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities? Good
  • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

  • Comments: Love this race and if I could train hard year round I would definetly do this again... but not in the cards. I would never do this race half assing my training. This event is no joke and to see, and be a part of, the walking dead is eye opening. Seeeing the amount of people dropping out as well

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

  • Comments: I'm pretty sure whoever designed this race is sadistic. The hills were relentless. I would be willing to bet this is the most difficult triathlon course in Ohio by a large margin. I can't even fathom doing what the Triple-T folks did. I'm glad I did, but man, it was painful.

  • Comments: I decided at the last minute to go ahead and do this race since my son would be playing tennis on Saturday at the District Tournaments I would still be able to be back home and make it out here Sunday am. I have only been on my bike for a 20 mile a 42 mile then I did TOSRV mothers day which was 105 miles and the week before this race I did two bricks but the bikes were only 15 and 11 miles long.....My entire past 7 months were spent training for the 50 Mile run I did in Nevada on April 21- you forget the biking muscle especially in these hills eat up your quads and you need those quads for the hilly run! I had a great day.....The swim was uneventful except for more contact then expected, I hadnt swam much at all either but felt relaxed and comfortable. The bike was more pleasant then expected, I felt my quads screaming a couple times but my head told them to be quite and just have fun! I refilled my water on the second lap. During the bike I ate a pb&j uncrustable and a waffer thing.
