  • Comments: The saying, "you get what you pay for" certainly holds true to this event...It was very cheap,($35) but there was nothing to write home about. All but one aid station didn't have any volunteers and you basically had to stop to pour yourself some water. (I was thankful that I bring my own water for longer races.) There wasn't even one porta-potty to be seen...The only reason this race got an "average" was because it was a decent course that I'd never ran before. Next time I'll run it for free like the loads of other people who were out there running with us who weren't part of the race. We didn't get a finisher's medal, but I did score a pretty nice running tee.
