  • Comments: Great course with lake swim, fairly flat cycle and scenic run course. Great preparation for the full ironman which is on the same course with slight modification to the cycle leg. I'll be back in March 2016.

  • Comments: Taupo Half Ironman is a great race, with wonderful, helpful, supportive volunteers. The course is great for me with a one lap swim, a relatively flat bike course, and a relatively flat run course (though with one very big evil hill).

  • Comments: really enjoyed the race, loved the course, lake swim suits me, bike course enjoyable, slightly disappointed in swim. Run very hard but expected that. too much food on bike possibly caused the stitch on run lap 1. Would do this race again!
