  • Comments: Great benefit for the Livestrong - LAF. Lot's of high school swimmers - all of whom would normally out swim me on my best day!

  • Comments: The most irritating part is that the times posted are WAY off. My friend who finished three minutes after me had a watch on, and his time on his watch was a 27min mile. His posted time was a 30min mile. that means that I did at least a 24min mile. That's a big difference in speed. In a pool, in practice, I can easily do a 21 minute mile. There's no way I went a 27 in a race, even if it was open water. So the times were off. But the race was fun, and I learned a lot, and that's what counts.
