  • Comments: The race was well run and on time and we even had bike escorts at the front of the pack! I was surprised at just the one aid station. I don't need any water during a 10k, but I know there a plenty of people that do, and plenty that need it multiple times. I know it was an Earth Day event so maybe they were cutting back on cups. They also might want to remeasure the course. Not that I'm not happy with the time, but the garmin had it a 1/4 mile short. Almost don't want to count this as an official PR because I will never come close again. I am still happy with the effort though. Coming back from the hip injury I have been very cautious and didn't have a real good idea where I was speed wise. I think I'm right back to where I was at the end of last season and that's an exciting prospect.
