Comments: This was my 1st tri and I couldn't be happier. I beat my personal goal by 10:33 and won my age group (although it was a small local sprint). I had the biggest cheering section of anybody with about 25 friends and family all cheering and waving huge signs. I almost got choked up coming into the finish with all the support.
I'm so glad I chose a local event so that everyone could come and share this experience with me.
I have a lot of room for improvement and I am looking forward to the next event which will be the same format on July 3rd.
