Comments: The one thing that saves this race is that SO many people do it. The course isn't exactly beautiful (it skirts the city, stays mainly in Southbank/Albert Park, but city running isn't awesome. There wasn't enough Powerade at the drink stations (too much water) also. But... there were 9000 people running the half-marathon, and countless more doing a marathon, 10k and shorter distances. It was pretty epic running with all those people. I had fun, and most of all I beat a 'friend' of mine that thinks he's sort of a hotshot. I beat him by a LONG SHOT.
