Comments: I have done the sprint 2 other times, in fact, my first race was this venue 4 years ago. Always said I wanted to do the Olympic, really glad I pulled the trigger and did it. This is by far the hardest physical thing I have done. I'm really glad I did it, I think I may be doing this again. My friends finished about 1 or 2 minutes behind me, it was awesome to be there when they came in. Celebrated with Chinese food for dinner which has become my traditional post race dinner.

Comments: I think this race has the potential to improve but some things need to be done. 2 volunteers at an aid station are not enough. When your volunteers are suppose to be making sure traffic isn't coming from a different rode, make sure you don't choose two high school age kids who like to throw pine cones at each other. There were not enough volunteers helping with the packet distribution the morning of the race. I think there was like one or two people also doing body marking. I understand it is hard to get volunteers sometimes, but advertise it more to get some more in there. If they would of had more volunteers checking people in then the race would of probably started on time too. The food was pretty much non-existent. By the time I finished, there was a empty cooler and a cooler half filled with water bottles with no ice on it.
