  • Comments: I have been to many, much smaller events than this that have been really bad with organization. This just blew me away. 2000+ swimmers every year and everything is just on time and well done. Best organized race I've ever been too. The best part about coming back in was the giant flashing beacon they had on the beach. EVERY RACE NEEDS ONE OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!! So easy to sight! Even over the waves. At one point though I turned to breath and was thrown by a giant wave. Yah, swallowed quite a bit right there. Loved seeing all the tropical fish again on the way in. Those garibaldi's are something spectacular!
