  • Comments: Post race food left a little to be desired. Ok, a lot. A banana was the only thing I found that I could eat. Race was prety well organized. Lacking the fun spectators that ING had though. Packet pickup was ridiculous. I may skip this next year if it's set up the same. I can't be bothered with driving to Buckhead on a Tuesday night after work with 5000 other people just to pick up my number. Shirts were pretty nice though.

  • Comments: A much improved experience with the addition of a race sponsor. The Weather Channel was a nice addition. There was somewhere between 8 and 9 thousand finishers in the half. I think next year it will sell out and definitely have over 10k finishers. Running on Thanksgiving has become a nationwide tradition, and Atlanta now can claim one of the best races out there in regards to the half marathon. Definitely something to be thankfull for.

  • Comments: I used to rate this race as average and attended it as a tradition with friends. In one year it's made amazing changes. They finally figured out over at ATC that this is a cool race. Plus, the parking is great so our families can get in and set up to watch the fun.

  • Comments: the hills were crazy for me. But I live and train in south GA where there are no hills :( But i loved it

  • Comments: This was a difficult, but good race with lots of friendly volunteers. I will probably be back next year. It was a beautiful day out, I beat my goal time, and I went and ate a TON of food after that so I can't ask for anything more. I am excited to run the ING 1/2 in March and I am going to really try to go under 1:25 for that.

  • Comments: Good race. Very well organized. The weather was perfect (although on the cold side of perfect) and the volunteers were the best. I will run it again next year. I am not ready for a marathon yet. That will have to be 2010. Legs need some time to get used to this distance. Knees are really sore today.

  • Comments: I thought the race was well organized, well stocked, and the volunteers were great. This had the atmosphere of a big time event. Once again, the Atlanta Track Club did an outstanding job!

  • Comments: Kathy and kids left the house around 7:30 PM which gave them plenty of time to watch people finish. Almost missed me because the were looking for a white shirt. Next year I would like to run 1:40
