  • Comments: Over the course of my 31 years of doing triathlons, this one is the best! Absolutely enjoyed the hometown feel, high level of organization/professionalism and great camaraderie with other friendly participants. Although Lake Michigan was only 65 degrees and choppy due to windy conditions, there were plenty of lifeguards to keep everyone on course and safe. Truly a memorable event, with lots of support and encouragement at every key point on the course and wonderful food afterwards...highly recommend this triathlon!!

  • Comments: This race was great. It challenged me a lot but at the same time it was great first race. The swim was way out of my league and skill level but if it was a calm day I think I would have been fine.
