  • Comments: A fun race. The folks at Core Power and Muscle Milk both get a "boo" for running out of protein shakes by the time I got to the finish line - and I finished in the top 47% of the race. Also, the new pedestrian bridge over Golf Road is a rough bit of running - especially having to do it twice, in the first and last mile.

  • Comments: This weekend was a really good time. The race was great, and we went to see Lincoln (which I highly recommend) and went to Medieval Times which was a blast!

  • Comments: This was a small, very well organized race. Seemed perfectly supported, I liked that the 5K start and finish was held in a completely different location than the half to avoid congestion, and plenty of nice warm shuttle buses awaited us at the finish. Chris was able to get around handily on the shuttle buses as well. If I wasn't so cold and ready for a hot shower, I would have grabbed a free massage.

  • Comments: Definitely a fun race! I would recommend this one if you're looking for something beyond a 5K Turkey Trot. They even gave finishers medals which was cool. Swag was pretty nice too- long sleeve 1/4 zip fleece are always useful.

  • Comments: They really need a better distribution of bathrooms. There were plenty at the start which you could also access at the 2 mile point but then you had just two at mile 4.5/7.25 then nothing until the finish.
