Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: A fun local event, very family oriented, all about getting kids and families in shape. The kids' races go up and down the main avenue in the town, and really get a lot of attention. The kids love it. And there's a dance party on the school yard afterwards, with kids and teachers practicing their moves together.

Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: I love this event. It's not a prestigious race, but it's as good as any that I've seen in turning out children and adults of all ages and getting them excited about being in shape. The kids love dancing with their teachers at the post-race dance party on the school yard.

Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: It's not a flashy race, and certainly not an opportunity to run a personal best time - the hills can be quite draining. But it's a really fun neighborhood event, a fundraiser for the local elementary school. Much of the fun is associated with the kids' races, and the post race dance party on the school yard.
