  • Comments: It was a fun race in a beautiful location. First timer friendly, but had some super fast individuals as well. Without Limits puts a lot of effort into having a good race experience

  • Comments: Gorgeous venue, well organized. Post-race activities virtually non-existent. Challenging course.

  • Comments: They need to re-evaluate the swim course to avoid the shallow areas, but overall this was a beautiful course. It was by far the most difficult course I've raced but still a lot of fun!

  • Comments: This was 1 of my favorite races! This is the first year that Without limits" has put this race on and it was fun. Great views and scenery! Best race venue I have been to. Got 2nd in the age group and they gave us a plaque and a belt buckle that is to be sent to my house. Food was marginal. Yogurt with granola and chips. Mix 1 was good. Can't complain about it really just not my favorite. Well Done Lance RD. A must do race. Camp at the campground and you are there in a flash. Steamboat the town is 26 miles away.

  • Comments: Despite how hard the course is, this race was awesome! It was totally gorgeous, I felt so fast swimming in the lake, even through all the pain I was smiling the whole time! I want to do it again next year, except this time actually be prepared for those hills! The extra altitude at Steamboat Lake doesn't really help that, haha. There were actually SIX DNF's for this race, I don't know why, but I'm guessing mechanical trouble or the course was too hard.
