Comments: I had a decent January running, but then missed 9 days being sick. I never felt like I was in very good shape prior to getting sick and then after 9 days off I felt really out of shape and started to lose motivation. I have had a really spotty Feb with running going like 4 days on 4 days off type of thing.
I decided to jump in this race to really get an idea of where I am exactly, so I could maybe train accordingly. I was also hoping running a race might spark a fire and I will refind some motivation.
I truly did not know what to expect and was really thinking I might have a hard time breaking 18 min.
I ran a solid race and dug deep at the end. I am super stoked to see that I am not in terrible shape and I now have a really good starting point to put in some focused training.
