  • Comments: Volunteers did a nice job.. I was disappointed that we didn't get long sleeve shirts this year! and that we got white shirts.. I really like the blue ones that the volunteers had on... All and all they do a GREAT job with that race and it is always fun to go to alexandria..

  • Comments: The course was great, but the transition was kind of annoying. And the post race activities SUCKED. Food was crappy and they didn't have any sort of informatin for what people were supposed to do while they were waiting for the awards ceremony. I don't like the heat starts, but I guess with a pool swim that's all you can do. Anyway, it was a good season opener and a great race for me. 1/21 AG 4/80 overall women 34/167 overall

  • Comments: The support and encouragement from everyone was great. I thought they did a wonderful job running the event and definitely plan to be back next year.

  • Comments: I love this race. It's small and for an early season race it's just right. Not a lot of bells & whistles, but the company made up for that!

  • Comments: I really like this race. This was my 3rd year and have really enjoyed all of them. The director, staff, and volunteers do a top notch job. I would and have recommend this race to anyone! Sorry I missed the BT meeting. I had bike issues in the transition area. I was really hoping to meet some fellow BTers in person. May have to check into the temporary tattos. Not even sure if they are selling them this year.

  • Comments: I was surprised how well I did since I was doubtful I'd be able to meet my goal of 80 minutes before the race. My swim went better than expected, my bike went better than expected and I was pleased with my run. This was a wonderful race to do for my first tri. I think I'm hooked. I was three seconds from getting a medal in my age group and only about 20 seconds from the place above that. There were so many places I could have saved on time. More practice is needed. I know I can improve.
