  • Comments: Was missing swim cap and wrist bracelet in race packet. Was able to pick up swim cap pre-race but was unaware of the missing bracelet until I needed it.

  • Comments: HFP racing did a hell of a job with this large and complex event. There were some issues with the results that cancelled the AG awards afterwards. The results were finally posted at 3:00 AM this morning. Sure that part sucked, but that was literally the only glitch I noticed the entire day. Everything else was top notch and I will be sure to do this event as well as other HFP events in the future.

  • Comments: I was concerned initially based on the registration setup. We got there on time and they weren't ready yet nor were the bibs there, but they came through with everything else. I didn't know how the bike was going to be successful, but the police and volunteers were amazing and pulled it off as good as I could have hoped for. If I had to recommend anything to HFP it would be to choose a different t-shirt color (navy in the summer?)and increase the quality of the medals (no year?). Overall, great job!!!

  • Comments: Great race for the innagural event. I've only done 3 tris prior to this and this is by far my favorite race that I've done. Well put together. The communication about the process for the race that was sent out beforehand was well documented. It needed to be considering the 2 transition areas and I think the planning that went into thsi made it a great event. There were tons of volunteers and they all did a great job. I am really impressed with HFP's ability to get so many people to help out. This race was the highlight so far of my short tri career. Well worth getting my butt out of bed at 4:25.
