  • Comments: Food selection post-race leaves a lot to be desired. Volunteers were great, as good as I have encountered anywhere. You can tell the AquaBike has dropped in stature here - less decent bag, very limited shirt sizes, and no age group awards for the AB anymore. But if you go into it solely as a good pre-Ironman ramp-up event, and don't mind rough roads on the bike course, it is a good option.

  • Comments: This is a really nice race and well run. The only issue I had was them not having finisher shirts for the Full Aquabike finishers. They seemed very disorganized at the finish line. Other than that, it was like an M-dot race on a much smaller stage.
