Comments: This is a large race (+7000 runners). Organization was poor. Pre-race water was half a mile away from the start. Volunteers and the public announcer knew nothing about running. For example, times were not read out for the winners at awards. Race results are not posted - and it’s the next day! Competitors lined up on both sides of a boulevard with “age group competitors on the right and walkers on the left.” Left side (“walkers”) clearly had a much shorter distance (~0.10mi) to run (the start travels around a large circular drive, but does not exit symmetricaly). The gun goes off and 400 meters into the run the “age group runners” fall behind “walkers” who traveled a shorter distance and are clearly not “walkers.” I find myself with 100 competitors in front of me that have clearly traveled a shorter distance. I’d recommend that “Firefly” finds some runners to participate on the race design/direction committee to inject some basic upgrades to insure that “runners” show up next
