  • Comments: They did an EXCELLENT job for this being a first itme event. Although I think the course was a little short on all three parts...everything went great. Organizers were great, volunteers were great...really enjoyed everything and I am really looking forward to next year!

  • Comments: Really nice race and the people that raced it were very nice too. This was my very first triathlon so I am very excited that I was able to do this and I am looking forward to the 1/2 Iron Man in Augusta, GA in September.

  • Comments: Really fun race. The only issues were that the swim exit was supposed to be up a boat launch ramp, but there was so much algae on the ramp that it was like standing on ice. The RD made a last minute change and we exited the water on a boat dock with volunteers helping us out. It was a good solution so I give the RD credit. Also, going in to T2 there was a traffic bottle neck and I had to slow down and weave in between cars to get to T2. The out and back bike course was awesome and I loved the climb!!!!!!!! This was a first year event and a good one!

  • Comments: Considering that this wasn't an "A" race it was overall a reasonable effort. Need to work on training in the heat more.
