  • Comments: These are my favorite type races. Just over 100+ people, laid back, and fun! I will definitely be back for another race up in Rome. It was organized well (only hiccup was on the run), just enough aid stations (IMHO, you do not need a lot for an Olympic), and all the money raised went to a good cause. Plus, I got to hang/race with my buddies.

  • Comments: This is a smaller race where a majority of the proceeds go to a great charity and everyone having a great time in casual setting. This was a first year race in a new venue and you really couldn't tell because there was sufficient race course support (water stations every 1.5 miles on the run course), friendly volunteers and a well marked course. Close to home is a huge plus too, About 1 hour drive from the Kennesaw/Acworth Northwest atlanta burbs.
