  • Comments: IMMT puts on a great race. The venue is beautiful, challenging. The community is behind IM like no other. Everywhere is welcoming! So nice! The village is great with lots of lodging options. My biggest beef with the race was lack of volunteers in T1/T2. It was pretty much self serve in there, but that's ok I guess. And the carpet...the half and worlds got the carpet, but not the full. It was wet and raining, but whatever...my feet were not happy about running that distance on concrete! Otherwise, great race and venue!

  • Comments: I will remember this race until the day I die. While the bike course was especially challenging, the beauty of the surroundings was incredible. With the exception of the two miles leading from the start to the bikepath, the run was pretty flat. There were plenty of fans to cheer me on. The fam. loved the venue and are already bugging me to do it again. I'm so glad I chose this race instead of Rev3 Cedar Point.

  • Comments: This is just such a great race. The location and the course are great for me. I really wish I had a chance to spend more time hiking and exploring the area. I can't believe that this race wouldn't sell out in 1 day. The volunteers were awesome and the local support was amazing. I'm such a lucky guy to be able to do things like this. My wife, Sue, understands me better than I understand myself. She knew how badly I wanted to do well in this race and supported me unconditionally all summer. She had the kids on board with this and I had a cheering section after most long rides. Unfortunately, Ironman training is not a balanced lifestyle for me....at least not the way I want to train. I'm sure I'll be back at the IM distance in a few years but it's back to HIM and local races for a while. I neglected so many things at home this summer. I should probably mention that I finished 10th in my age group and there were 8 kona slots. 2 guys passed before me so I had the opportunity

  • Comments: I loved this race and loved Mont Tremblant. It's like a swim, bike, run mecca up there. This race is like a hidden gem how it doesn't sell out day one is beyond me. Just awesome logistics for this race and a great venue with great hospitality. I have to thank God for keep me safe and watching over me all day. I have to say thank you to the organizers who did a great job this year along with the volunteers who were awesome. The supporters were great and out in force cheering on the athletes. The town really embraces this race. Thank you to all the emergency personal who supported the race as well and helped keep the athletes safe through out the event. I also have to thank my wife Joyce and my three kids Kayla, Erynn and Austin for their help and support without which I'd not have been able to do this. There is lot's I can say but it just doesn't seem like it'd be enough. I love them all. Thank you once again to my Beginner Triathlete mentoring group the Asphalt Junkies. They're

  • Comments: I have never done an IM before but I can honestly say this was the best race I have ever done and I know this is the best IM on the circuit in North America, hands down! This town really embraces the race and the athletes and it is such a beautiful area. Everything is so organized, everyone is friendly, there are so many volunteers you really do not need to do anything. I love all the activities they have during the week and things to do in town. Wife and I are already talking about just going up there again next year to vacation because we love it so much. If you are on the fence about this race, do not be. Sign up and it will be the best decision you make. This really is a world class race, in a world class venue with world class Race Directors and Volunteers. Thank you Mont Tremblant for making my Ironman Experience so wonderful. Also, it was great to meet so many BTers at the race. This website and the people on it helped me get through this race in more ways then they will

  • Comments: I loved this race. The course itself was beautiful and just challenging enough. It has built in charm. The locals were supportive and very nice. I'd only done one IM before, and again, the volunteers were awesome. They were everywhere, and extremely helpful. I hear some criticism of WTC, but I can't complain. I feel like I get what I pay for. I had an amazing race experience, and would without hesitation do this race again.

  • Comments: This was not my fastest nor my slowest. But it was really not a year that I was whole heartedly into training. I started the year thinking I would try for a kona spot and give training my all. But then there was a lot of things going on in my life (work, family, etc) that cause me to step back from that goal. Then as the spring and summer went on it became less and less of a focus. I got he minimal training in and it didn't bother me. I know that there will be a time that I refocus myself for a kona spot, maybe next year, or maybe the year after. But I have to be sure I have a reason and am 100% committed. I love racing and training so I will continue to do Ironman races as long as I can, just the focus for the end result needs to align with the rest of my goals and objectives in life. :)
