Comments: What a great day. This was a very well organized race. Plenty of volunteer help and a well laid out course with good trafic control. My friends from the California Velo Club finished their first race with a respectable time and had fun. I had a great time. I am much happier with my own effort here than I was with my last race. I'll be back next year.

Comments: Great race, I realy had fun. It is nice to do a race like this where even those of us who will never be stellar athletes, can still have fun and succeed.

Comments: Good race for 1st tri due to the flat course. 1st part of swim is a bit tough due to effort getting out through waves. Overall, I had a great time despite a terrible swim. I'll chalk up all the lessons and do better next time. This was my first triathlon. I got through it with a smile and feeling good.

Comments: Always a great kick off to the season. Can't wait till next weekend though California 70.3 here I come.
