Comments: Very nice race. Pretty and challenging course. Laid-back and not too large. There were a lot of firsts for me with this race (Olympic distance, altitude, wetsuit, open water, substantial hills), so I didn't want to put a lot of pressure on myself. I think there is a lot of room for improvement, but I am mostly happy with how I did.

Comments: This was my worst race ever. I went in to it as a training race, but the swim and bike problems made it frustrating and less ideal training.

Comments: This race is slated as, "The Toughest Race You'll Ever Love." and I'll concur. Very challenging, but very fun...beautiful atmosphere and a perfect excuse to get out of the heat every summer for a good race. I will be back...

Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

Comments: There is a flat and beautiful road to run on to cap a great race. Instead tradition has demanded that the weary triathletes suffer up a 1.5 mile 400 foot elevation gaining hill, changing the race from spectacular to miserable for many, even the very fit.
