  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: My prior PR was from last year's Denver Rock-n-Roll, 4:08:18, which was flat, on pavement and at lower elevation. My goal was to break 4 hours, which I did. The absolute best that I expected to do was about a 9 minute average; I am well pleased with 9:03. I am now looking for another marathon in about 2 months. Denver in 5 weeks is too soon.

  • Comments: Glad to have done a second marathon. I'll be anxious to see how I'm feeling tomorrow. I'm especially pleased that I broke through the 4 hour mark as that represents a PR by over 28 minutes! Not sure if I'll do another anytime soon, but I'm still proud that I did it.
