Comments: over all a great race, not a PR but only a minute something off and this time no current assisted swim and HILLS! The bike was faster than B2B on those hills, so that has me very happy and my swim time was a great surprise and right on target with my training.

Comments: Entered in the Novice Category and won for first timers! Prize was a wine glass and bottle of local wine.

Comments: This was my smartest race yet. I had freshly tested heart rate zones for the bike and I stayed in zone 2. I took it super easy on the swim and drafted well. I stuck with my plan the whole way. Even though my times, including my run time, were not much different from Waterman's Half, I felt like I actually deserved the finisher's medal this time.
