  • Comments: Enjoyed the bike route - definitely need to improve my cornering. They had me in the wrong age group - I should have been in 40-44 this year. My run time isn't correct either.

  • Comments: great race, especially for the price. Definitely will do it again. Excellent beginner race as well.

  • Comments: It's a nice sprint event. Non-sanctioned, which probably helps keep the cost down. That may also have something to do with it being a part of the Iowa Games. The post-race isn't anything to write home about, and the awards ceremony is not at all worth hanging around for - a simple podium would be nice. If I hadn't finished in the top 3, I would have headed out as soon as I could have gotten my bike out of transition. I'd be OK paying 10 or 15 bucks more if that would allow them to do a bit more.

  • Comments: All in all this is one of my favorite triathlon’s. Its small yet well organized. Most people are there to have fun and enjoy the company of others as well as obtain bragging rights to their friends. I will try to go back next year if my work schedule will allow it.

  • Comments: It was my first tri and I think I did as well as I could. I wish my chain did not slip on the bike and that I could swim faster but overall I'm happy with my performance.

  • Comments: Alright, more AG hardware. This ended up being a pretty good race for me. Solid splits all around and one of my better finishes. I took over 5 minutes off my time from last year (2nd ever tri) so that's another bonus.
